Home owners and apartment dwellers can all attract and support more of nature’s bounty. The key is in understanding what characterizes the local ecology. Amanda Bayley, landscape designer and co-founder of Plan It Wild, will explain how on Saturday, March 21, 3:00 – 4:00 pm at the Pound Ridge Library. Bayley applies an understanding of the local ecoregion to connect a landscape to the natural world. An ecoregion embraces places with similar plants weather, and geographic conditions. These conditions in turn support animal life-- from lady bugs to hummingbirds-- associated with a place. For more info., please visit https://planitwild.com/events.
