Here we go again--Season #9!
Join Us for Invasive Vine Cutting and Stewardship on the Saw Mill River
besides being good for the trees, it's
Fun
Therapeutic--works out stress
Good exercise
A "Feel Good" time
Please join us on SATURDAY November 15th, from 10am to 1pm with our on-going battle against the vines that are killing native trees and taking over the river habitat! We're also clearing trails to the river so canoes and kayaks can "put-in" and "take-out."
Site: Farragut Avenue (East Side)--see directions below
As always, we will have loppers, clippers, and gloves; if you can bring your own, that's great. Please wear good shoes and dress in layers. We'll show you how EASY it is to get rid of these awful vines!
Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided.
