We'll be cutting vines this Sunday 12/9 in the Scarsdale/Eastchester area on the Bronx River Reservation from 1-3pm
This time out we'll be by Exit 10 (Harney/Strathmore Rds.) and meet on Garth Rd. where you can park over by the Little League field.
We haven't done any maintenance in this area in a couple of years and I'm sure there'll be some porcelain berry to remove.
The county just recently completed a streambank stabilization/restoration project just south of here which we can also take a look at.
As per usual, we'll have tools and gloves to lend.
Please RSVP if possible, so I can make sure we have enough tools etc.
And dress for the weather; forecast for Sunday is for cold weather.
