Speaker: Michael Formichelli
Michael Formichelli presents timely information on invasive pests, emerging threats and steps we may take to prevent the spread and introduction of destructive insects and plant diseases. Learn the interesting facts about the Asian long horned beetle, emerald ash borer and other pests that threaten our landscapes.
Michael Formichelli is a Horticulture Inspector with the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets. He identifies invasive pests and performs inspections of plant nurseries. Mike educates the public on invasive pests and emerging threats to our forests and landscapes, such as the spotted lanternfly.
