Join Laura Conner, Environmental Educator, for an approximately four-mile round trip walk along two carriage roads to reach the picturesque Echo Rock. Ancient Eastern Hemlock trees line the edges of this route and we’ll look for the invasive Hemlock Wooly Adelgid insect that is damaging their health. From the top of this scenic lookout, visitors peer down into the pristine Palmaghatt Ravine, where vultures often glide below. This hike is appropriate for modest hikers. Pre-registration is required.
