Celebrate New York State Invasive Species Awareness Week in Pelham Bay Park! Join the NYC Parks Stewardship Team as we remove harmful invasive species from the forests of Pelham. Volunteers will be cutting multiflora rose and woody vines to open up new areas for further restoration and ensure the health of the forest. Come dressed in long pants, clothes that can dirty, and durable boots or sneakers. Please bring your own water bottle! Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
