Volunteer with the Stewardship Team and the Natural Areas Conservancy for Invasive Species Awareness Week! Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove the invasive mile-a-minute vine! Native to East Asia, the annual Persicaria perfoliata vine is capable of growing up to six inches a day, often destroying young trees in the process.Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and light long-sleeved layers. Please bring your own water bottle to this event. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.\
