Please join us to help kickoff our first annual Lower Hudson PRISM Block Buster Invasive Species survey ! We hope to use this systematic grid-based survey to fill in missing invasive species information including abundances and absences throughout the Lower Hudson region.

Linda Rohleder will be giving the Welcome and Introduction.
We’re going to have short presentations to review information from the Orientation session from John Mickelson and Jennifer Dean.
We will all be available to help you with questions, picking a block, or deciding how you will approach surveying your block. We’re also trying to have all the species on the Basic Species list (27 species) available for you to study and folks will be on hand to point out the relevant id characteristics.
The room has wi-fi, so bring your laptop, tablet or smartphone and review survey materials and data entry options live, get help with iMapInvasives, or the new iMapInvasives Mobile apps for smartphones.
We will also have a large map of the region marked with the blocks and who has signed up for each block.
