Some people will be coming in the morning, others may not make it until lunch and then cut in the afternoon.

from Vocabulary.com...

A swarm is a good word for a large group of bees working quickly and focused as a group! Like bees, any group of people or animals can be considered a swarm if they act together and quickly - even fiercely.
