We'll be cutting vines/saving trees this Sunday, 3/11 from 1-3pm on Paxton Ave. in Bronxville. This site on the Bronx River Parkway Reservation is reached by taking Exit 1 on the parkway if you're coming from the south. If travelling south on the parkway, take Exit 1A (Deshon Ave.) and circle around.
Park on the street; don't have to feed the meters on Sunday☺.
Directly across from 26 Paxton Ave., we'll be removing vines and trash on this site where we're doing a Corydalis incisa study with Iona College and where we plan to plant some trees and shrubs in the future.
As is usual, we'll have gloves and tools to lend and a short training session.
Dress appropriately. We've had to cancel our 2 February programs because of rain, but forecast looks clear for Sunday, although there may be some snow on the ground.
